Type 009034
COMwin Type 009034
COMwin Type 009034 is simulation software for the serial interface. It shows register contents and transfer parameters, simulates character and control messages and makes handshake protocols visible. This makes the program suitable for training and for clear analysis of serial communication.
- Simulation of the serial interface
- Observe and modify register contents of a send character
- Monitor the effect of data length, parity and stop bits
- Send characters, strings and control signals via the serial interface
- Display and print the handshake protocol as a timing diagram
- Simulate transmission of characters and strings
Clear Evaluation of Serial Communication
COMwin lets users observe and change the signal of a send character, the transfer parameters and the control and status signals of the serial interface. This makes the interaction of data length, parity and stop bits easy to understand.
The software can send characters, strings and control messages to different target systems via the serial interface. The handshake protocol is displayed as a timing diagram and can be printed.
Use with a Training Board
COMwin can optionally be used with the INTERFACE TRAINING BOARD Type 3855. This makes common serial transfer scenarios tangible for teaching and training.
The software is designed for Windows systems and is intended as a multi-user license.
